The Accordion Shutter moves horizontally between upper and lower tracks. The interlocking blades are made of extruded aluminum with a wheel assembly attached to the top to allow for easy movement from left to right and right to left. The Accordion Shutter is designed to cover large openings and to withstand winds and potential impact in a Category 5 hurricane.

The perfect solution for business premises where the added security is needed. The slats are made of grade 50 steel , galvanized steel, zinc coating, No. 24 ga. Steel for hoods with 3/8” thick intermediate supports as required to prevent sag. Steel surfaces to be painted with a coat of rust-inhibiting primer. Mill finish in clear anodized. 
There is a choice of either grilled or solid slats. The grilled finish is a good choice for display windows, as they allow for perfect visibility of your goods on display, while the solid finish can be used as the optimum security solution for commercial units. These steel doors can also be fabricated with your choice of an electrical motor, or manual operation or both.

Rolling Shutters' design allows each slat to roll-up inside its housing capacity. The result is an attractive look, an important consideration for home and business exterior appearance. The second kind of storm panel installation is Horizontal. This method is preferred when there is a sill protruding on the bottom of the window or doorways.
